About
Who's behind all this, why there's quite so much of it, and why you won't find a photograph of me anywhere on the site.
I'm Maddie. I build software on my own — mostly for iPhone and Mac, occasionally for the web when a problem is better solved in a browser.
I'm autistic, and I work alone by choice. It means I get to build the thing properly rather than the thing that demos well, and it means the list of projects on this site is longer than it has any right to be. I'd rather have made ten honest things than one polished one with a marketing budget.
What you'll find here
Apps. The main event. Health records, transcription, a wrestling promotion simulator, a few others. Some are on the App Store, some are in beta, and I've said plainly which is which.
Writing. No theme, no schedule. Whatever I was thinking about that day.
Film and TV. I love writing reviews and I have no idea why. Scores are out of ten and entirely mine.
3D prints and photography. The two things I do with my hands instead of a keyboard.
What you won't find
A photo of me. That's deliberate, and it isn't going to change. The work is the interesting part — I'd rather you looked at that.
